Responsible Gambling
At IceFishingGame.au, we believe gambling should be enjoyed as a form of entertainment – not as a way to make money or escape problems. We are committed to promoting safe and responsible gambling practices for all Australian players.
Know the Signs of Problem Gambling
It may be time to seek help if you notice any of the following behaviours in yourself or someone you care about:
- Spending more money or time gambling than you intended
- Chasing losses – gambling more to try to win back what you've lost
- Gambling with money that was meant for bills, rent, or other essentials
- Lying to family or friends about how much you gamble
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not gambling
- Neglecting work, family, or social obligations due to gambling
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling
- Using gambling as a way to escape stress or negative feelings
Tips for Playing Responsibly
- Set a budget before you start and never exceed it, regardless of wins or losses
- Set time limits for each session and take regular breaks
- Never chase losses – if you've lost your session budget, stop playing
- Play for entertainment, not as a source of income
- Avoid gambling when upset, stressed, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Balance gambling with other hobbies and social activities
- Use deposit limits and cooling-off periods offered by licensed casinos
Self-Exclusion Tools
If you feel you need a break from gambling, most licensed Australian online casinos offer self-exclusion programs that allow you to restrict your own access for a defined period. Contact your casino's support team to activate self-exclusion.
